Aurora City
Aurora City is home to the largest population of the Augmented in North America. It lies in the southeast U.S.A., nestled into the scenic Jigsaw Range of the Appalachian Mountains, the oldest mountains in the world. It is easily accessible from the states of Tennessee and North Carolina. The Tchalitkee River provides access to the east coast and divides the city proper into two large districts.
The historic city north of the river dates back to early fur traders and is now known as the Aurora District. South of the river is the more recently developed Lockeheart District. Generally, the name Aurora City is used to refer to the Aurora City Greater Metropolitan Area (GMA) which consists of several large districts, each with their own character, that surrounds the city proper. While technically not a part of the GMA, the environs surrounding Aurora City are often considered part of the overall city and include the picturesque Cloudcatcher Mountain and Mount Kirby.
